URBAN DESTINATIONS

The bustling cities of India offer a number of sightseeing attractions. These major metropolises are an amalgamation of ancient landmarks, modern architecture, traditional settings and progressive communities. We design our tours in such a way that you get to truly experience the spirit of a city, how it used to be and what has made it the way it is today.

Mumbai

Formerly known as Bombay, Mumbai is the financial capital of India. Its major landmarks include several sites of colonial architecture, the most famous of which is the impressive Gateway of India.  The majestic Victoria Terminus, now renamed as Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, is considered a great example of Gothic Victorian Revival architecture in India. Mumbai also has great shopping districts, beautiful beaches, museums, and is home to India’s major film studios.

Delhi

The capital of India is a vast and sprawling metropolis with a lengthy history that is visible in its monuments, mosques, temples and forts. You can visit the Jama Masjid, which is the largest mosque in India; the Qutub Minar, which is a stunning example of Mughal architecture; and the Red Fort, in front of which the annual Independence Day parade takes place. Enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi and then drive past the India Gate in Lutyen’s modern Delhi, so that you can observe the stark contrast in the two parts of the city. This is just one of the things that make Delhi so unique, and our tour includes several such fascinating attractions in the city.

Bangalore

Referred to as the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore is now home to some of the largest software and info-tech companies in the world. The city also has a long and illustrious history spanning several centuries. The most popular tourist attractions include the Vidhan Soudha, Cubbon Park, Ulsoor Lake, Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan’s Palace and Lal Bagh Gardens. The city offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Karnataka and is a popular tourist destination in India.
